Car park near the town hall in Écromagny.
(S/E) With your back to the town hall, turn right onto the RD137. Leave the Route du Pellevin on your right, cross the Étang Pellevin dam and immediately turn left. At the next fork, turn left towards Les Époissets until you approach the hamlet.
(1) Leave the small road and go up to the right. Continue until you approach a small pond and turn left. Follow a pretty forest path to reach the Étang La Dame.
(2) Go down to the left (east) on a path that runs alongside a stream and join the RD73.
(3) Cross it and take the small paved road opposite. After two pretty buildings, you will reach Moulin Bégeot.
(4) Continue along the road, ignoring the private road that branches off to the right, and at the next junction, turn left to reach a crossroads about 100 metres further on.
(5) Turn right, heading east, and walk along the gravel path, then turn right immediately. You will come to a pretty shelter near the old Granges Baverey school, which is a nice place to stop for a break during your walk.
(6) After this break, retrace your steps to the previous crossroads.
(5) Turn right. At the next fork, turn left, then at the second fork, turn right to reach a small pond. After the pond, continue north. After a climb, turn left and you will arrive at a footbridge.
(7) Cross the Ruisseau de Chevigney stream and continue north. At the next crossroads, near an old farm, turn right until you reach the Route du Moulin Grillot (altitude 406). Turn left to join the Route de Melay in Écromagny
(8) Turn left, pass below a farm and return to the village (S/E).
