Park in the car park of the nursery school in Tourrettes-sur-Loup.
(S/E) Head towards the Route de Vence, heading south, where you will find an underpass marked by a sign: Village médiéval - accès conseillé (Medieval village - recommended access). Pass under the road through a stone tunnel and continue along Rue de la Bourgade, which runs parallel to the Route de Vence. You will reach the crossroads at the Church of Saint-Grégoire.
(1) Keep left, cross the square and head towards the castle - town hall dating from 1430. Pass under the arches of the castle - town hall to enter the old town via the Grand Rue until you reach marker 151.
(2) Follow the signs for La Colle du Moulin. Continue along Rue du Portail Neuf to reach the village exit and a beautiful orientation table. Continue along the paved slanting street downhill to marker 152.
Yellow marker
(3) Turn right at this crossroads, called Chemin de Pascaressa, towards La Colle du Moulin. Enjoy the views of the ruins of the railway bridge, destroyed by the Germans in August 1944. Reach the stone bridge over the Vallon des Bouirades stream.
(4) Turn left after the bridge. The trail becomes a tarmac road called Route de la Baume. Follow it carefully to marker 196. Note: the marker has no number; the number 196 has been written in pen and is barely visible.
(5) Continue straight ahead towards the old railway line via Chemin du Moulin à Farine. When you reach a 90° bend, leave the road and continue straight ahead on the track until you reach marker 195. Turn right and follow the old railway line until you reach marker 194.
(6) Carefully turn left onto Route de Pie Lombard , which is the old railway line. Continue straight ahead to marker 193. Continue straight ahead. Continue to marker 198.
(7) Continue along this old railway line lined with pleasant vegetation. Follow the signsfor Ancienne voie ferrée. Crossthe Saint Antoine Viaduct with its six stone arches and continue to marker 199. At the road and this marker, turn left and follow Route de Grasse for about a hundred metres.

(8) Cross carefully at the old level crossing and take the Route des Courmettes. Follow a steep climb to a hairpin bend, where two paths meet.
(9) Take the one on the right, which starts between two large rocks. In the Vallon du Camplan, a well borders the river. In the second valley, called Vallon de Clare, there is a beautiful waterfall about 20 metres high. The trail then runs along rocky outcrops, offering beautiful views of the coastline. Reach a new trail junction and arrive at thefirst marker 184, which is not marked on the map but is clearly visible. Turn left and a few steps further on you will find asecond marker 184, which is clearly marked on the map.
Yellow markings
(10) Turn right towards Route du Pié Martin onto a beautiful wooded path, continue uphill to reach the highest point at marker 185.
(11) Continue straight ahead on this track towards Pié Martin until you reach marker 186.
(12) Turn right towards Tourrettes-sur-Loup on this stony track. You will reach a crossroads marked by a cairn.
End of yellow markings and start of fuchsia markings
(13) Take the path on the left. Continue downhill until you reach another hairpin bend marked by a cairn.
(14) Take the path on the right, which is in poor condition but clearly marked with fuchsia-orange dots. At the bottom of the valley, the path follows the river for about 100 metres before joining the riverbed. Continue along the riverbed, where there is a channel for water to flow through. The walk of about thirty metres is not dangerous. The path then leaves the riverbed and continues along the side to reach the road.
(15) Turn left onto Route de Saint Jean and follow it with caution. Then walk alongside the Chapelle Saint-Jean, with its original interior paintings. Cross Place de la Libération and return to the initial crossroads at the Église Saint-Grégoire.
(1) Take the same route back as you did on the way there, until you reach the nursery school car park (S/E).
