Parking: Place Bodart in front of the school in Falmignoul.
(S) With your back to the N95, with the school on your left, head towards the willow tree. Take the small bridge. Cross the road carefully and go up the hill opposite. Then turn left towards the church (Rue des Crétias). Ignore the roads coming from the right or left and go up the street to the chapel.
(1) Turn left. At the next intersection, turn right. Continue downhill until the road surface changes.
(2) Take the path that goes between the meadows on your left and go down to the entrance to the forest.
(3) As soon as you enter the forest, take the path on the right and follow it up through the forest, keeping alongside the meadow.
(4) Viewpoint of the Flag. Continue along the path to reach the top of Château Thierry.
(5) After visiting the ruins, return to the trail you started on and continue until you reach a junction with several trails.
(6) Descend the ravine path on the left, then exit and continue along the path. At the crossroads, turn left and descend to the banks of the Meuse.
(7) Go through the narrow passage if the gate is closed and turn left. Follow the Meuse. Pass a picnic area under the trees.
(8) Pass the marina and the ferryman (depending on the time of year).
(9) After 1 km, at a very wide intersection with a picnic table, turn left (GR®). Climb the path towards the Cascatelles, heading towards the foot of the waterfall by taking the path on the right. Retrace your steps to continue climbing the path. Fork left at the intersection (GR®). At the next intersection, take the steep climb on the left (GR®). At the fork, keep to the left path.
(10) Then take the very steep climb on the left (GR®). At the next intersection, take the path on the right (GR® cross) and continue climbing to exit the forest. You will find yourself on a farm track running alongside meadows and cultivated fields. Continue straight ahead, ignoring the two paths on the right and then the one on the left.
(1) At the chapel, turn right and descend to the car park.
