Park in the car park at Place Roger Bodart.
(S/E) Head towards the roundabout, then take the street that branches off slightly to the right.
(1) Take the first left onto Rue Marette, then right onto Rue Moneau.
(2) Turn left onto Rue Haute, keep right at the next intersection, then turn right onto a wide, paved road.
(3) Take the path on the left between the pastures, which descends straight down towards the Meuse.
The slope is gentle. When I passed through, a few fallen trees slightly hindered progress.
(4) Once you reach the Meuse, turn left and follow the towpath.
(5) After the marina, take the path on the left that climbs up alongside the waterfalls. This section reveals a series of small waterfalls that give the place its name.
The path sometimes crosses the stream, which is very shallow; you can cross on logs or large stones without difficulty, but the path remains very wet in places.
(6) At the top of the path, take a very steep climb to the left for about 50 metres, the only slightly difficult part of the route. At the top of the steep slope, turn right to leave the woods after a few dozen metres.
(7) Follow the path straight ahead between the fields.
(8) Turn right and, after about 100 metres, turn left onto the "Chemin au naturel" created by the children of the Falmignoul school, with insect hotels and information panels [|https://www.matele.
Reach Rue des Crétias and continue to the right to reach the roundabout at the start.
Turn right to return to the car park (S/E).
Very beautiful route, fortunately the dry weather meant that the trail wasn't slippery.
