Go to the Blegny-Mine estate at Rue Lambert Marlet 23, 4670 Blégny. There is a large car park at the entrance to the estate. Start the walk at the entrance to the mini golf course, just after the cafeteria.
(S/E): Head north-east and take the path between the Skip sign (dump truck) and the mini golf course. Go around the slag heap, keeping to the left. Turn right and continue straight ahead until you reach Rue Bellefleur. Cross the street and continue straight ahead. When the road turns left, continue straight ahead on a path that descends towards Le Bolland stream. Cross the stream and follow it on your right.
(1) At the end of the path, take the small bridge on the right. At the exit, turn immediately left. Head north-northwest and cross several meadows using the footbridges. After the last footbridge, you will reach the road.
(2) Then turn left and take a small path downhill. Cross the next meadows, go downhill and cross the stream. Use a farm building opposite as a landmark, then turn left. You will come out onto Rue du Soldat Diet; follow it to the right. Cross Rue Bouhouille.
(3) At the T-junction, near the greenhouses, turn left (due south). At the end of the path, continue straight ahead into an alleyway.
(4) At the end (cross), first turn left then right and follow a path south. Go around a sports field on the right. At the T-junction, at the foot of a water tower, turn left. Go down towards the woods.
(5) At the entrance to the woods, after crossing the stream, turn sharply right. At the corner of the woods, take a path on the left going uphill and walk along the meadows.
(6) At the crossroads (crucifix), turn left and go down Rue Burdocuisine to a white house with a mining wagon. Then turn right onto a path. Cross a stream and, at the end of the path, turn left. At the fork, turn right onto Rue de la Tannerie. When it turns left, take a path on the right and walk along the cemetery on your left.
(7) After passing the cemetery, follow a path on the left with bars as landmarks. Cross the access road to the cemetery and continue straight ahead on a path. At an intersection, turn right. You will immediately come to Rue de l'Institut and follow it to the left.
(8) After passing a crucifix, turn right onto Rue Haute Sougné. Continue along a path and cross the meadows using the footbridges. You will come out onto Rue de la Waide.
(9) Follow this street to the left. Take thefirst path on the right. At the end, turn left. After about 100 metres, push open a gate on the right and walk along the slag heap on your left, following the mining train track. Turn left to return to the starting point (S/E).
