Departure from the car park behind the Livron-sur-Drôme media library.
(S/E) From the car park, take the path that runs alongside the small square, then Place Jean-Pierre-Vignot (stele). Cross Avenue des Cévennes and take the passageway that leads to the town hall car park. Enter André-Granjon Park and take the path on the left that leads up to the town hall entrance.
(1) Cross Avenue Joseph Combier, follow the street opposite for 75 metres, then turn left into Montée du Vieux-Marché. Views of Livron and the right bank of the Rhône.
(2) At the end, turn right onto Rue François-Pie and continue along the path that runs alongside the esplanade.
(3) At the end of the esplanade, the path becomes a ridge trail. Walk along the cemetery, pass at the foot of the Tour du Diable, the Mont Rôti post and then the ruins of the Pavillon, before descending along the vineyards.
(4) Before La Francette, take the small road on the right towards Champy and then follow the D93a on the left.
(5) After the bridge, at Chante, take the track on the right. Cross the metal footbridge over the railway line and continue along the path on the left. It enters the woods on the right.
(6) At the Les Freydières signpost, take the path on the right towards Livron along the banks of the Drôme. It stays south of the railway line and winds for 4 km between it and the Drôme river. At the end, you will come to the Pont du Commando Henri-Faure bridge (error on the IGN map).
(7) Take the street on the right and return to the crossroads you passed on the way there.
(1) Turn left into the town hall park. Follow the same route as on the way out to return to the starting point (S/E).
