Park in the car park on the village square in Saint-Thomas.
(S/E) With your back to the town hall, leaving the D53 Route de Sainte-Foy-de Peyrolières on your left, go round the old moat of the castle; at the bend, take the shaded path opposite which leads down to the lake. Cross the road leading to the hamlet of La Cabane, then continue along the path opposite which runs alongside the lake until you reach the road leading to the Ranch Equi Punch.
(1) Turn left onto the tarmac road that forms part of theGR®86, and follow it.
Pass the ranch on your left, turn left then right until you reach the junction at the bend to the left of the access road to the ranch.
(2) Turn right onto theGR®86; after the left-hand bend, head east again, following the Ruisseau de la Galage. Continue along this path to the hamlet of En Pouillac, where the road replaces the track.
(3) At the crossroads at the edge of the hamlet, turn left onto the road and head up to the D53a, which links Saint-Thomas to Sainte-Foy-de-Peyrolières.
(4) Turn left onto the D-road and follow it to the crossroads at the start of the hamlet of Mouréou.
(5) Turn onto the small road on the right and continue to the D53 between Saint-Thomas and Saint-Lys.
Turn right onto the main road and continue to the dirt track on the left.
(6) Turn left onto the dirt track and continue to the hamlet of Larroudé after descending and then climbing back up the bed of the Ruisseau de Mescurt. If the track is not visible because it has been ploughed, go straight ahead to reach the left-hand side of the copse; you will then need to follow the edge of the copse to the stream crossing. You will reach a T-junction. The start of the dirt track may vary depending on ploughing, as may its route up to the edge of the copse; beyond that, it is always in the same place.
(7) Turn left at the junction and rejoin the road that forms part of theGR®86, which you should follow to the finish. Continue along this Route d’En Palas to the junction with the Route d’Empeaux.
(8) Turn left onto the D58 towards Saint-Thomas, then immediately right into the dead-end road until you reach the path on the left leading to the cemetery.
(9) Turn left and continue along this path until you rejoin the road at the next junction. Turn left onto the road, leaving the cemetery behind you, and continue to the village square and the car park at the start (S/E).
