Park at the Parking des Venelles car park, near the cemetery.
(S/E) Leave the car park via Rue des Venelles, against the one-way system, which leads to the D355. Turn left and pass by Saint-Colomban Church. At the bend in the road, opposite the shops, cross Rue de Saint-Malo with caution and take the small Rue Adrien Salle, to the right of the bakery.
At the end, turn left onto Rue de la Mairie, pass in front of the public school and continue straight ahead. Walk along a wall and arrive at a crossroads with a give way sign. On your left, you will see the entrance to Ville Bague, used for guided tours.
Walk along the wall of the property with the bell tower of the small chapel and the tall chimneys characteristic of Malouinières. Continue to the crossroads near La Barre (lodge).
(1) Turn left, continue along the small road and pass behind the Malouinière de la Ville-ès-Treux. Ignore a road on the left and arrive at a new crossroads near the D201.
White markings (not very visible)
(2) Turn left at the sign for La Lihais, pass close to a house (beware of vicious dogs behind a small fence) and continue along a grassy path towards the Malouinière la Bréarde (late 17th - early 18th century).
Pass between the farm buildings and continue along a farm track for about a hundred metres. Turn right between the fields to descend towards a small road. Follow it to the left and pass in front of the very sober Les Barreaux malouinière, which was built around 1730. Continue on to reach a new, more imposing malouinière, Les Courtils.
No signposts
(3) Turn left onto a path that passes by the gable end of the house and leads to a small road between the vegetable fields. Turn left and follow the road as it bends sharply to go around the Ville Aze malouinière near the Étang Sainte-Suzanne.
(4) At the stop sign, cross the D355 carefully near the bridge and continue straight on the small road that leads to a car park with picnic tables. Opposite, on the other bank, you can see the Fosse Hingant malouinière. Walk along the lake through a wooded area, cross the dyke that closes off the lake and continue along the path that leads to a bend in the road. Continue straight on to the next crossroads, ignoring the road on the left leading to the La Ville ès Gourdeaux farm.
(5) Take the road lined with fields on the left and arrive at a place called Le Fresne. You can make a round trip on the right to the 18th-century malouinière (large farmhouse) of La Ville Poulet.
(6) Turn left (signposted Saint-Coulomb à vélo), cross the hamlet, go over a small bridge and shortly afterwards you will arrive at the Saint-Coulomb industrial estate. Continue to the Souvenir du jubilé de 1875 calvary.
(7) At the crossroads, take the alley opposite, which leads to the car park (S/E).
