Description of the walk

Departure from the Guimorais car park.

(S/E) Head north to reach a wooded path, then turn right onto Impasse des Nielles, which leads to Pointe du Meinga. When you emerge from the trees, continue straight ahead. There are several options for turning left.

White and red markings for the GR®34

(1) Descend towards the shore to join the GR®34 and head north towards Pointe du Meinga. You can see a small blockhouse halfway up the point.

(2) Continue to the point following the path and go around it after taking a break to admire the view. Continue on the path towards the south-east and arrive at the port beach.

(3) Take the path opposite, which runs along the top of the beach. You can also walk along the beach, depending on the tide times (check before setting off), but this is more difficult. Follow the marked path.

End of GR®34 markings

(4) Leave the coast via the path that turns right. After a left-hand bend, join Roz Ven and turn right to reach the D201, which you should follow for 250 metres on the right.

(5) Take the farm track on the left, crossing the road. At the end of the track, continue straight ahead, crossing the C4 road. Follow it to the end, at the Route du Vieux Châtel.

(6) Turn left, then after 200 m at the end of the bend, follow the road on the left and very quickly take the direction of La Guimorais and take the path on the right towards La Librais. After 170 m, continue on the path opposite, which is an extension of the road leading to La Bréarde.

(7) After 50 metres, turn right, then left at the first crossroads to reach the Barreaux malouinière.

(8) Turn left and stay on the road until you reach Les Courtils Launay on the left-hand side. After 80 metres, continue right towards Rothenuef and Saint-Ideuc. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead.

(9) Upon entering Saint-Vincent, take the first road on the right towards Les Blanguenons/La Ville Roger. After 250 m, the road becomes a path. Follow it slightly uphill. At the top of the hill, keep right and join the D201 or Rue de La Sablière.

White and red GR®34 markings

(10) Turn right and then immediately left. After the bridge, turn left and follow the coastal path.

(11) Go around the old mill's reservoir and continue to the turning area at the small port of La Guimorais. Turn right onto the road going uphill towards the village. The road leads to the centre of La Guimorais.

End of the GR®34 trail

(12) Then turn left towards the car park to return to the starting point. (S/E)
