Place aux Foires, by the car park, next to the allegorical statue of Agriculture.
(S/E) From the car park, cross the main street and turn left, following the markings with the leopard-patterned studs, towards the Maison du Parc Naturel Régional d’Armorique. After 200 m on the Route de Châteaulin, turn right into the garden of the Maison de Santé de l’Aulne Maritime. Exit on the side of the Municipal Library.
Via Rue de Rosnoën (two houses listed as historic monuments), reach the former Place des Halles (seven half-timbered houses with gables facing the street, listed). Then, take Rue du Passage. After the pretty terraces near the bank, turn left to reach Place aux Cendres.
(1) Turn right into the alley leading to the south porch of Saint-Sauveur Church. Then turn left onto Rue de la Grève, continuing to the motorhome park. At the far end of the campsite, you can take a short circular path along the coastal path.
(2) Return towards Saint-Sauveur Church via the path running alongside the Rivière du Faou estuary.
(3) Walk along its inner wall, cross the bridge to reach the quay and follow the footpath to the left until you reach the end of the quay. Cross the Route de Lanvoy and return via Rue de la Rive to Place Saint-Joseph.
(4) Then head back up towards Place aux Foires along Rue du Général de Gaulle (on the left, note a listed house, number twelve) (S/E).
