Description of the walk

The walk starts from the Grande Vigne car park at a place called Les Fichères (in the commune of Germond-Rouvre).

(S) Head towards the village centre, heading south.

(1) Turn right, then immediately left onto a path leading into the forest. Cross the Ruisseau de la Vergne. At the first junction, turn right. Carry on until you reach the first path on your right.

(2) Follow the track to the right as far as Bourpaillé, where you turn right onto the road towards Berge. Then turn left onto a new track 100 metres further on, leaving the road to the right which leads to Berge.

(3) At the T-junction, turn right. At the end of the track, continue to the right to join theGR® de Pays Sud Gâtine (marked with yellow-red or white-red signs) and turn right. Follow theGR® which will take you back to the car park after turning right at the junction.
