Maligné route

Park at Place du Château.

(S/E) Head to Avenue du Château, continue down it for about 100 metres and turn right towards La Tannerie and the Layon River.

(1) 100 metres before the bridge over the Layon, turn left onto a tarmac road and then immediately right onto a path for 1 kilometre, without reaching the river.

(2) Turn left, climb up through a small wood for 50 metres (steep slope), continue along the path towards the north-east through the vineyards and arrive at a crossroads at the entrance to Maligné.

(3) Continue slightly to the right on Rue des Vignerons, then left on Rue de la Chapelle, followed by Rue Saint-Vincent, until you reach the D83 stop sign.

(4) Cross it carefully, walk along the stadium on your left, then turn left, still walking along the stadium, and arrive at the Girondeau stream.

(5) Cross this stream and follow the tarmac road up to the entrance to the village of Martigné-Briand.

(6) Turn left onto Rue de la Gaubretière, then turn right onto Rue du Vieux Logis and left onto Rue du 8 Mai 1945 (cemetery on your left).

(7) Continue along Rue du 8 Mai 1945 and, at the D83 stop sign, turn right to return to Place du Château (S/E).
