Route of the Fraisse Chapel via Mont Sémiol

Park on Place de la Madone in Châtelneuf.

(S/E) Head away from the Madone and carefully cross the D69. Follow the Route de Châtelneuf for a few dozen metres and take the Chemin de la Chana, which is on the left.

(1) On the right, go to the cross, take the small path that goes around it on the left and follow it uphill to an intersection before Mont Semiol.

(2) Turn right to reach Mont Semiol and go around it. Enjoy the view, then walk down the path to the next intersection.

(3) Turn right and continue to house no. 92, just before the road, and take Chemin le Sanillard on the left.

(4) Turn right at the water treatment plant and follow Chemin des Pierres Jaunes straight ahead. Cross the road, take Chemin des Marrants opposite and arrive at some houses.

(5) Turn right onto Chemin des Regards, cross the road carefully and continue straight ahead on Chemin des Combes.

(6) At the intersection, take the road on the left towards Croix de Besset and turn right towards the sign indicating "La chapelle".

(7) Take a break to explore the chapel, then retrace your steps to the fork at the water treatment plant.

(4) Turn right and you will come to a signpost.

(8) Continue to the right and further on, join Chemin de la Souche, which you follow to the left until you reach the hamlet of the same name.

(9) Keep left, pass in front of the Croix Masson and, after a farm, you will arrive at an intersection.

(10) Take Chemin de Chana on the left and continue until you reach the cross you passed on the way there.

(1) Turn right and, following the same route in reverse, return to the car park on the left (S/E).
