Car park at Château de Cas.
(S/E) Take the path that goes past the houses and carry on straight ahead until you reach the road leading to Mordagne.
(1) Follow the road to the left and, at the junction by the cross, turn right, passing in front of the Moulin du Gal. Carry on and cross the stream a second time.
(2) At a Y-junction, turn right, pass the Moulin du Bosc and carry on straight ahead towards Caudesaygues.
(3) Look out for the turn-off to the left for the rest of the route, but carry on straight ahead and then turn left to make a round trip to the Chapelle Saint-Barthélémy.
(4) Retrace your steps back to the junction.
(3) Turn right. Continue uphill along some lovely paths until you reach the road, which you should follow as the path continues. In Mas d’Astruc, turn right, then left.
(5) After the houses, take the road on the right, passing through the hamlet of Moussié. At the next junction by the cross, turn right, passing in front of the wash house.
(6) At the crossroads, veer right and carry on straight ahead along the road for almost a kilometre.
(7) Take the footpath on the right, follow it across fields and along paths, cross a small stream and carry on straight ahead.
(8) Cross the stream again, turn right and head up to the village of Espinas. Take the first road on the right to join the D75.
(9) Carry on straight ahead towards La Grézie. At the cross, turn right and go straight on. Join a road and carry on straight ahead.
(10) At the junction, walk a few metres to the left along the D75 and leave the road. Take the path down to the right which passes through the heath. Walk through the hamlet until you reach a road. Cross one road, then a second near a livestock farm, and carry on straight ahead.
(11) At the Y-junction where you can see a cross, turn right towards Mordagne.
(12) Before the cemetery, take a path that descends to the left and then turns right through the boxwood. Follow this path across the limestone plateau, enjoying some lovely views. The path then descends steeply to the car park (S/E).
, lovely scenery and woodland paths. A very pleasant walk, slightly longer than indicated, with just one detour because the path to the cemetery is not maintained. Take the path after the cemetery (point 12) as they join up again.
