Chapelle Saint-Cyriaque and Notre-Dame de Paracol at the start of the Val

Park in the school car park on Avenue des Droits de l'Homme. Avoid the upper car park as it is reserved for schools at certain times.

(S/E) Head towards Route de Barjols and pass under the bridge. Then follow the path on the right, parallel to the main road, until you reach the large crossroads. Turn left and you will soon reach a three-way junction.

(1) Turn left onto Chemin de Paracol, pass the retirement home and continue straight ahead, passing two properties on your left.

(2) Take the path on the right, which is not easily visible, and climb up to the Chapelle Saint-Cyriaque. Go around it on the right to reach the viewpoint above.

(3) Return to the path, which leads to a track. Follow the track in the same direction until you reach a crossroads.

(4) Continue straight ahead on the track, negotiate the hairpin bend to the left and arrive at a fork.

(5) Continue straight ahead to reach Notre-Dame de Paracol.

(6) Walk around the chapel and return along the same path to the fork you passed earlier.

(5) Take the track downhill to the left and continue to a crossroads.

(7) Continue left on the path that winds along the edge of the Vallon des Flammes and arrives at the junction with the Via Aurelia just before a large site with a cistern.

(8) Leave this on your right and continue straight on towards the barrier. Reach the junction with Chemin des Vergers, about a hundred metres before arriving at the D28.

(9) Take this path on the left, pass between a few vineyards and arrive at a crossroads.

(10) Continue right on Chemin des Vergers, then turn left onto Chemin de Poidoux. Pass under the Route de Barjols bridge again and return to the car park (S/E).
