Description of the walk

A car park (15 spaces) is available at the starting point, on the road leading down to Rosbraz harbour.

(S/E) With your back to the car park, walk down towards the port for about 200 metres and, after a road on the left, turn right onto a small path that descends steeply towards the river (caution: slippery when wet).

(1) At the bottom, turn right and follow the path along the river. It is clearly visible and passes through two coves. Stay on the path without entering private property along the Aven.

(2) Continue along the carriage road at the third bend and turn left to admire the beautiful Trémor Chapel.

(3) Retrace your steps and continue straight ahead to cross the hamlet of Trémor and arrive at a tarmac road markedGR®34. Follow it to the right for about a hundred metres.

(4) Turn right and follow the small road that passes through Kerglaye and leads to another road.

(5) Turn right onto this road until you reach a fork.

(6) Follow the new road to the right, admiring the thatched cottages as you go, and return to your starting point car park (S/E).

Take a stroll around the small harbour near the car park.
You may wish to visit the chapel if it is open.

Nice hike. Be careful on the first descent, which is steep and can be very slippery in wet weather.

Very beautiful hike, but unfortunately the second part from the Trémor chapel onwards is not signposted.

A beautiful first part along the "GR34" coastal path, which makes you forget the inevitable return journey by road.

A pleasant walk along the river. Siye is magnificent, but the return journey by road is a bit dull.

Very pleasant route. Some tricky sections in wet weather (slippery roots).
