Park at Urbaització La Torre, Avinguda d'Andorra.
Follow the red and white GR® signs to the castle.
(S/E) Pass by the house with three garage doors, then climb the hill until you reach a path.
(1) Turn right, then left about 20 m further on, and you'll come to a large picnic area with parking, litter garbage cans and tables.
(2) At the crossroads, go straight ahead and start climbing. At another T-junction, turn left to reach Montplà.
(3) Continue straight on to Coll d'en Garrigars, where four paths cross.
(4) Go straight ahead and climb the rocks, following the red and white signs to the château.
(5) It's possible to enter the castle and access the battlements via a staircase in one of the towers. Then take the path below the castle and follow it to the right.
(6) Turn left, following the yellow arrows that lead to the foot of the climbing routes in a large cavity. Then head for the scree slope.
(7) Go down the scree until you reach the main path, then follow it to the left. You will arrive in Torroella de Montgrí, at the Ronda de Pau Casals. Turn left, then left again 50 m further on, onto the Cami del Xiprer d'en Navarro, running northeast.
(8) Follow the faint path on the right, indicated by logs, which later becomes much more visible. It crosses a pretty pine forest in the shade and then reaches the picnic area.
(2) Turn right, then right again to reach the first fork.
(1) Turn left to rejoin the starting point (S/E).
