You can set off from the town by heading towards the street called Pujada de la Primavera, or drive up to the car park (Glamping Lodge Estartit) located above the campsite after two bends.
(S/E) Follow the road uphill to a long clearing in the woods.
(1) Turn right: white and green markings, local footpath. At the T-junction, turn left for about twenty metres.
(2) Turn right and head up the path towards Cala Pedrosa, a wide track through the pine trees and rocks.
(3) Continue to the left, following a series of gentle ascents and descents along this path until you reach the small cove of Pedrosa.
(4) Take a moment to rest here, or even go for a swim. To continue, climb up the other side of the cove and look out for the path marked with white and green markings on the trees. The climb isn’t very long before you reach a spot offering some lovely views.
(5) Turn right, still heading towards Cala Ferriol. The path is very rocky and the descent is quite steep.
(6) Make the most of this cove to have a swim and recharge your batteries. For the return journey, head towards the far end of the cove (towards the forest), where you’ll find a tree with white and green markings. Continue along the path for a while until you reach a junction (signposted).
(7) Turn left, following the sign for “Dunes and Torroella de Montgri”: white and red markings for the GR®92.
(8) Carry on straight ahead, following the GR® signposts, still heading towards the Dunes and Torroella de Montgri.
(9) Leave the GR®, which branches off to the right, and go straight on to rejoin the local path marked in white and blue. At the junction, turn left to continue along the local path and return to a junction you passed on the way out.
(2) Turn right and, a little further on, you’ll come out at Pujada de la Primavera.
(1) Head down to the left towards the car park (S/E).
