Start:By car, park above Bandama, on the road to the Las Palmas Golf Club. Caution__, do not enter the golf club's customer car
park.
Possible by bus, but not much traffic.
(S/E) Departure is between the bus stop and the Bandama restaurants, towards the Caldera Bandama viewpoint, indicated by a tourist sign with a camera and hiker logo.
(1) Descend to the bottom of the Caldera.
(2) Follow the path to the right to discover all the traces of geology and agricultural life. Ignore two forks on the right. Continue around the crater, always keeping to the right, until you reach the end of the caldera.
(2) After soaking up the atmosphere of this special place, climb back up to the starting point.
(S/E) Climb to the right along the road leading to Pico de Bandama until you reach the first path on the right as the road bends.
(3) Follow this path back down to the crater rim, Camino Borde de Caldera, staying on the crater ridge until you reach the Bandama Golf Hotel.
(4) Follow the Camino Borde de Caldera to the right. Ignore a path leading down to the tennis courts, then keep to the right, taking the road that leads to the parking lots to find Bandama's hotels, restaurants, bars and bus stop (S/E).
