Bandama Caldera

From its peripheral route, the crater's aerial ridges offer majestic views of the coastline from Telde to Las Palmas. This is a trail of great geological value, whose interpretation is located on the Mirador Bandama, as it plunges into a phreatomagmatic caldera with traces of aboriginal life. Entering the caldera offers a different kind of dreamlike experience, as it is completely isolated and thought-provoking.

It's a lovely, busy hike. Leave early to find a car park at the summit and get some peace and quiet. Pleasant spring weather, a little overcast but not too hot. Start by descending into the Caldéra, take the short tour, stop at Augustin's house and then climb back up. Stop at the lookout point, then take the narrow path that will take you to the Caldéra path at Golf level, then start the tour. Nice viewpoint, nice path. The tour was validated at around 7.3 km by my Garmin watch. To round off the walk, have a drink or a bite to eat at the small Bodega Los Gérianos at the top of the Caldera, which is very nice....

A very pretty route. Stop at the belvedere at the start to admire the depths of the caldera and stop there on the way back for a picnic before doing the 2nd loop. It's great!
P.S:
Easy to follow excellent

You should go down to the bottom of the caldera and visit Agustin's house, where he lived for most of his life, climbing up and down from the age of 9 to 93. Apparently, this lifestyle keeps you in good health.
