Park in the Roman Theatre car park. The route is marked in yellow and blue, no. 1, from start to finish.
(S/E) Opposite the Roman Theatre, turn left towards the archaeologists' house. In a meadow, follow the small hill on the right until you reach a path that climbs up to the chapel above the theatre. Pass by the chapel and follow the top of the Roman Theatre.
(1) Take a path that branches off to the left and leads to a small paved road.
(2) Turn right and continue straight towards the woods when the road turns left.
(3) At the edge of the woods, turn right towards "sentier des roches" (rock path) then left onto a path that climbs into the woods. At the first crossroads, turn right and you will come to a wide trench (former EDF line). Take it to the left for about 50 metres.
(4) Turn right to enter the woods, join the ridge path and follow it to the left.
(5) Further up, you will come to the paragliding launch site, a viewing platform and, a little further on, an orientation table by the power line. Nearby are playgrounds, a motocross track and a shelter. Continue straight ahead on the path along the edge of the cliff.
(6) At a spring, turn right and descend towards the Doubs, which you will reach.
(7) Follow the northbound path along the Doubs to the Roman theatre, which is well worth a visit (S/E).
Pleasant, well-marked route
