Mountain bike circular no. 5
(S/E) Leave the sports complex to rejoin the main road and take Rue Pinard-Legry opposite.
(1) After the housing estate, take Chemin des Piconies on the left at the hairpin bend. Continue to the pharmacy crossroads.
(2) At the give way sign, take Route des Tuileries on the right.
(3) After the cemetery, keep right on Chemin de la Deymarie. Continue straight ahead, pass the first junction with a house on your right and continue to the second junction, with another house on your right.
(4) Turn left onto Chemin de Fortunel, then left again and quickly right onto the path between the houses.
(5) At the junction with the road (sign for the exit of the village of Rouffignac-Saint-Cernin), continue straight ahead on Chemin de la Menque until you reach the first junction.
(6) Keep right on the road (do not follow the bicycle sign next to the crucifix) and continue to the stop sign.
(7) Follow the road to the left in front of the car garage, then take the first right towards La Rousselie.
(8) At the crossroads, keep left and continue along the path until you return to the road.
(9) Merge and continue straight ahead until you reach the second road on the left.
(10) Turn left at La Rue Haute (into Chemin de la Rue).
(11) When you leave the forest, take the road on the right, then turn left at the stop sign (do not follow the signs for Rouffignac). Continue until you reach Route de Puybazet on the left.
(12) Take this road towards the hamlet and continue straight ahead. Stay on the road until you see the sign for "Circular de Lalande".
(13) Turn left onto the path, then keep left again before reaching the houses.
(14) Continue straight ahead to the end of the path and turn right to join the road, which you should follow to the right until the next junction.
(15) Turn left onto Chemin de Dadinou.
(16) Before reaching the end of Chemin de Dadinou (with the houses), take the path on the left and head towards the edge of the woods at the bottom of the hill.
(17) Turn right to continue through the forest and keep left at the next two forks.
(18) At the four-way junction, continue to the left, then turn left and cross the small stream.
(19) Continue until you reach the tarmac road and follow it to the left until you come to a path on the right.
(20) Take this path towards the stream and continue along the path, following the "Fanlac" sign on the hiking signpost to the hamlet of Bourrut, keeping to the right.
(21) After the hamlet, stay on the path until you reach the crossroads.
(22) Take the road on the left, then the first dirt track on the right, into Impasse du Soleil Levant.
(23) At the fork, keep left, walk alongside the houses and continue to the next junction. Turn right to rejoin the Chemin du Prieuré.
(24) Join the road on the right until you reach the T-junction.
(25) Take the road on the left.
(26) At the fork with another road, keep left and after the houses, continue left onto Chemin de Bascontal.
(27) At the crossroads, take the road on the left towards L'Ermitage.
(28) At the fork, keep right on the forest road.
(29) At the three-way junction, keep right and at the next junction, repeat the operation and reach the tarmac road.
(30) Take the path on the left (do not take the tarmac road) and continue along it until you reach a four-way fork.
(31) Take the track on the left and continue straight ahead until you reach a road.
(32) Continue left, then take the first path on the right and follow it until you reach a crossroads.
(33) Turn left, then right at the fork.
(34) At the road, turn left, then immediately left onto Chemin de la Grave.
(35) At the four-way intersection, continue on Chemin du Ruth to the left. Pass a crossroads after the houses and follow the winding road downhill. At the edge of the forest, turn left, then right, and you will arrive at a 90° left turn.
(36) Follow the path on the right along the river, pass under the bridge, pass a turn-off on the left and, at the ferryman's house, turn left and arrive at a road.
(37) Turn left, then take the first path on the right towards "Les Brandes". Continue straight ahead after the next crossroads until you reach a hairpin bend.
(38) Turn completely left onto the road.
(39) Pass the entrance to the Dagpo Kagyu Ling Buddhist centre and continue straight ahead on the path between the trees. Keep to the left so as not to enter the centre.
(40) When you leave the forest, take the road on the right and continue to the next crossroads.
(41) Take Chemin des Marguerites on the left, towards Le Moulinier, cross the stream and follow the path on the right at the edge of the forest. When you reach the hamlet, turn left twice to leave it and continue along the path until you reach the road.
(42) Turn right onto the road, then quickly take the first left (before Château du Peuch) onto Chemin de Fontatou.
(43) At the crossroads, turn right and then quickly take the path on the right. At the next crossroads, turn right again and continue straight ahead until you reach a hairpin bend on the right.
(44) Continue left, then right at the next fork and continue straight ahead until you reach the small bridge over the Vimont.
(45) At the small bridge, follow the path to the left and you will arrive at the end of Chemin des Chardonnies.
(46) Take the road on the left, then the path on the right before the wash house.
(47) At the end of the path, turn left onto the forest path, then left again to reach a road.
(48) Turn right and take the second path on the left.
(49) Turn left onto this path, heading towards La Maletie.
(50) At the fork, turn right onto Chemin de Tras le Four.
(51) At the end of the path, turn right onto the road, then quickly turn right onto the path that enters the forest.
(52) Pass the houses and the tower and turn right onto the path.
(53) At the edge of the forest, turn left to reach the crossroads and continue straight ahead. Ignore two roads on the right and reach a path on the right.
(54) Take this path, Chemin de l'Esclavit (sign).
(55) At the end of the path, continue left, then immediately right onto Traverse de Boujou, then continue along the path opposite between the trees until you reach a fork.
(56) Turn right and continue along the path, then keep left to rejoin the road.
(57) Turn left and continue to the roundabout.
(58) Take the first exit towards Périgueux/Thenon and continue straight ahead until you reach the next roundabout.
(59) Turn left, then go straight ahead at the next roundabout, towards Saint-Geyrac. At the crossroads, turn right to reach the sports complex (S/E).
