Circular route via Moissière from Ancelle

The route starts fromAncelle in the Champsaur. Head to the Nordic chalet at the southern exit of the village on the D213 towards the Col de Moissière. Use the free shuttle during school holidays or one of the car parks on either side of the chalet.

(S/E) Walk up the road to the Taillas chairlift.

(1) Continue to the end of the car park and take the path that starts on the right bank of the Torrent de Rivaou, following the markers for snowshoe route no. 8. Enjoy a pleasant walk through the woodland alongside the stream, which you will cross twice, before reaching the Route du Col de Massière.

(2) Cross the road and continue straight ahead into the mountain pasture. After fording a small stream, you will reach the hamlet of Moissière.

(3) Continue south along the road, passing the start of the Coste Belle ski lift.

(4) Shortly afterwards, on the right, head back down, passing at the foot of the Serreglier ski lift and then beneath the Moissière ski lift, always following the markers for the snowshoe route no. 8.

(5) Cross the ski slope carefully and veer right to take the forest path which leads directly back to the car park on the left bank of the Torrent de Rivaou.

(1) Head back down to the Nordic chalet (S/E).
