A very beautiful hike with the Château de Rambouillet and its grounds as the highlight. One small improvement could be made: the section on the local road leaving the château grounds towards Poigny la Forêt. It is not dangerous, as the cycle path keeps you safe, but this road is quite busy and the noise from the cars is incessant.

The section of the walk along the N road is not particularly interesting. You can start by taking a path on the right that runs more or less parallel to it; then, when you rejoin the N road, take a path on the left and follow the tracks back to the starting point.

A walk in the sunshine. No one in the forest, but a few people in the castle grounds.
The section through the Angennes rocks requires a bit of care.
Whilst the walk through the castle grounds is pleasant, the detour via Rambouillet is of little interest.
There is a drinking fountain in Gazeran.
