Starting point: large car park at the fountain, with electric charging station.
(S/E) Head north along the Banège river and cross it via the small bridge that leads to the campsite. Cross the campsite to reach Rue des Justices (Route de Mouleydier) and turn right for 50 metres.
(1) At the police station, turn left onto the Roman road, which is initially tarmac but then becomes a dirt track. Continue along this road (formerly the Paris-Barèges road). Climb the hill, cross a rural track, then a wood (beware of ruts in wet weather) and you will reach Château les Saintongers.
(2) Go around the estate on the right and, a little further on, turn right and join the Route du Poujol. Follow it to the right towards the east.
(3) Cross the hamlet of Le Poujol, then a very pleasant wood and continue on this road to the D21, Route du Roc (Issigeac to Saint-Aubin de-Lanquais).
(4) Cross it carefully and continue straight on Route de Bellevue to the hamlet of Les Bigots and past it.
(5) Immediately after a large unfinished concrete block building, turn right onto the path. Pass through part of the woods and admire the beautiful scenery.
(6) Cut across a carriage road leading to a house (Les Boïmes on the map) and continue to the Issigeac cemetery.
(7) Walk along the cemetery and you will come to Rue des Justices. Turn left and follow this road until you reach the police station.
(1) Take the same route back to the car park (S/E).
