Park in the Charvet car park near a telecommunications mast.
(S/E) Turn left onto the track leading to Peyra Juana, then immediately turn right to take the lovely path running parallel to the Tabuc track. Continue at a leisurely pace until you reach this track at the Tabuc bridge.
(1) Cross the bridge, continue along the well-marked grassy track and join the Sagnières path. Turn left onto it and begin an easy climb. Shortly after a hairpin bend, you’ll reach the Sagnières chalets.
(2) Continue straight ahead, past the Les Grangettes sign, and, following a path with a mix of gentle ascents and descents, cross a few streams, including the Ruisseau des Prés des Fonts, to reach the Les Grangettes chalets.
Note on this section: it does not appear on the 1:25,000 map, but it is definitely there and is even marked in yellow, albeit a very pale shade.
(3) Continue downhill and then cross the Tabuc via a footbridge. Carry on to the left along the wide track until you reach a clearly visible junction, though there are no signposts.
(4) Turn right and continue along the hillside on this beautiful path. Ford the Torrent de la Selle and rejoin theGR®54at the next junction. Take it to the left to reach the Charvet chalets.
(5) Stay on theGR® and complete the descent, then join the Peyra Juana track; take it to the left to return to the Charvet car park (S/E).
