From the hiking information point at the Montignac Tourist Office, head towards Sarlat (D704). After 6 km, turn left towards Saint-Amand-de-Coly. Park at Place du 14 Juillet, a car park with a picnic table and shelter.
(S/E) With the car park behind you, leave it behind and follow the road to the right, then turn left towards the abbey. Continue until you reach the steps on the right.
(1) Take the stairs, which lead up a steep path. Numerous low walls line the path, which then climbs gently up onto the plateau. Walk past a large house and its old well, continuing straight on until you reach a crossroads marked by a wooden cross.
(2) Follow the signposting to the left, towards Castagnet, then reach the hamlet of Asplats.
(3) Turn left towards Clos de Veysset and rejoin the GR®.
(4) Follow it along the road to the left, then take the path on the right as you leave the hamlet. Head down towards a small spring, then climb back up to a tarmac road which you should take on the right, following the fences. Continue to the hamlet of La Sedayne and go past it to reach a junction.
(5) After the house at La Sedayne, take the very stony path on the right which descends steeply between walls. Turn left to reach the abbey, then right towards the (S/E).
