Circular Two Valleys Route starting from Lautrec

Park in the car park along the street at the entrance to Lautrec, near the roundabout.

Note: the route is marked in yellow, but consists of sections from different PR® trails. Please pay attention to the various changes in direction and routes.

(S/E) Enter Lautrec via Rue du Mercadial. Continue to Rue de la Rode, passing through Rue de l’Église. Reach Rue du Mallegou.

(1) Turn left onto this street and head down to Allée des Remparts. Turn right onto it to reach Route de Roquecourbe. Follow it to the left, then turn right onto Chemin des Sols. Walk for about a hundred metres and you will find Chemin du Bouriou on your right.

(2) Take this path. At the next junction, turn left to go downhill and join the Chemin des Droits de l'Homme.

(3) Take it on the left and follow it straight on to the Saint-Clément cemetery.

(4) Leave the track and take the narrow path on the left heading north. At the road, turn right, then left, towards La Gayraudié, about a hundred metres further on.

(5) Cross the farmyard and, in front of the water tower, turn left. You’ll reach the Peyrolle crossroads after passing under the power line.

(6) Follow the path to the right to join the D92.

(7) Cross it carefully, then turn left straight away to walk alongside a wood. You’ll reach the D30, which is the road to Mondragon.

(8) Take it to the left, then turn right at the recycling centre, leaving the water tower on your right. Then turn left onto Chemin de l'Hôpital to return to the car park at the entrance to Lautrec (S/E).

Note: you can plan this walk for a Friday morning before heading to the canteen at Café Plum.
