The starting and finishing point is the Place de la Mairie in Brousse: parking is available in the town hall square or the church square.
(S/E) Go round the community hall on the right behind the concrete bar and follow a path that runs alongside the field to reach the D83.
(1) Follow it to the left for about fifty metres, then take the path to the right of the house at La Vitarelle. Continue along this path, turn right to cross the Ruisseau de Fonvieille via the earthen bridge and continue along the grassy strip on the left (the owner gives permission).
(2) At Melet, take the concrete bridge on the left and continue along the path that climbs through the woods to the road to Saint-Julien-du-Puy.
(3) Turn left for about 100 m, then head right onto the Chemin de Larcario.
(4) After the bend, continue straight on along the grassy path that runs alongside the woods; turn left at the top of the hill and head down towards the woods behind Neraille. Cross the Ruisseau de Villeneuve and follow the path on the right that climbs into the woods.
(5) Turn left as you leave the woods towards Saint-Germain, where you’ll reach a tarmac road. Continue to the D83. Cross it carefully and carry on along the road opposite towards Grésillou.
(6) Turn left before the copse and the pond on the descent and continue towards La Planésié. Pass to the left of the house, continue along the tarmac path and turn immediately left after the orchard. Continue along the grassy path to the Route du Puech de la Rhode, then turn left towards Les Frayals.
(7) Take the first road on the right, Chemin de la Siganié, pass the house and the swimming pool, then turn left into the field, along the edge of the trees. Continue through the woods (do not take the wide dirt track) and follow the path.
Continue along the edge of the field; the path climbs and at the top there is a lovely view of the village and the hamlet of Millet. You can see the small lake below Millet. Follow the Ruisseau de Castelbergat.
(8) Cross the bridge over the stream and turn right towards the sewage treatment plant (the purification is carried out by reeds). Return to the tarmac road, pass a garage, turn left onto Chemin de Millet and head up towards the town hall (S/E).
