Circular from Saint-Macaire to Lauzun

To reach Saint-Macaire Church from Lauzun, head towards Saint Aubin-de-Cadelech on the D266, then turn right towards Queyssel. The church is on the left at the top of a hill. Access to the church and its car park is via a gravel path.

(S/E) With your back to the church, go down the castine path to the road. Take the road on the left and follow it to the first path on the right.

(1) Turn onto this path and follow it until you reach a road.

(2) Turn left and follow the road that passes between houses. At the end of the tarmac section, continue along the path opposite for about 1.7 km.

(3) Turn left and follow the path to a road near Champ du Gorry.

(4) Turn left, ignore the access road to the Pigné farm and arrive at a path on the right.

(5) Take this path and follow it to La Renardière farm.

(6) Turn immediately left after the farm, walking alongside the buildings, and follow the path back to the church car park (S/E).
