Park in the car park at the town hall in Saint-Hippolyte-de-Montaigu.
(S/E) From the back of the car park, go down the stairs, turn right, cross the bridge and head up to the left towards the road.
(1) Cross the D 982 and continue straight ahead onto the D 125. At the second bend, turn left, follow the vineyard along the yellow markings and head towards the Couderoux marker.
(2) Head left towards Terrier and Gilbertes, following the markings. At the T-junction, turn left.
(3) At the next junction, in the woods, turn right and then right again to reach the Terrier and Gilbertes junction.
(4) Head left, pass the cemetery, and continue along the Chemin de la Croix au Bois, which leads onto a pleasant path. At the Archimbelle junction, follow the road to the left for a few metres and turn onto the first path on the left, the Chemin des Granges.
(5) Cross the D219 and continue straight ahead. At the Lauzières junction – 198 m, continue in the same direction.
(6) Turn left (DFCI Y 48), cross the D982 and continue straight ahead. At Camperjura, turn left, head towards Peyrequil and continue right towards the castle. At the Fork in the road, keep left. Walk past the cemetery, follow the D219 to the right and reach the junction (D219/D279).
(7) Turn left onto Rue de la Bastide, pass beneath the castle, then head left and pass to the left of the church. Climb up into the village following the yellow markings and head towards Le Planet. Turn left and walk a few metres.
(8) Climb up to the right and follow thePR®®36trail as it winds its way between the blocks of sandstone and quartzite in shades of ochre and red. Part of the rocky outcrops at La Capelle is equipped for climbing. Let your imagination run wild. The path leads onto a small road, opposite the Chapelle Saint-Pierre.
(9) Head down to the left onto the road towards the village, passing in front of the church. In Masmolène, turn right onto Rue de La Font Nouvelle. Cross the D279 and continue straight on along Route de Vallabrix.
(10) Turn left onto Chemin du Plan towards Saint-Victor-des-Oules and walk through the orchards. At the bend, continue straight on along the path, cross the woods and, just before the road, follow the path to the right.
(11) Cross the road. At the junction, turn left and walk alongside a small pond. Follow the yellow markings carefully. Pass in front of the quarries and arrive at the spring water collection points.
(12) Turn left and head towards Saint-Hippolyte-de-Montaigu on the DFCI Y 17 to return to the town hall car park (S/E).
