The starting point is at the hiker's rest area next to the bridge, which takes you to Clavé by crossing the Touche Poupard dam reservoir.
(S/E) Cross the bridge and reach the D142.
(1) Take the road on the left, following theGR® 364. Pass through Soleil Levant, continue following the markings and reach the footbridge.
(2) Cross the stream and continue on theGR® along the lake on your left until you reach a country lane.
(3) Continue to the right, still on theGR®, taking this uphill path. Follow the markings, ignoring the side paths. Continue past Les Chaumes, leave the road shortly afterwards via a path on the right, and reach another small road.
(4) Cross over, take theGR® 364 opposite, which is shared with theGRP® des Marches de Gâtine, and reach the D24.
(5) Cross it carefully and continue until you reach Fond Nivoux and the D329. Take the latter to the left and reach the village of Saint-Georges-de-Noisné.
(6) At the stop sign, cross the D24 again and continue towards the church. Continue through the village on the D329, following theGRP® markers. Pass in front of the private school and immediately turn left towards Les Vieilles Vignes until you reach the first path on the right.
(7) Take this path and, following theGRP®, reach Les Fontaines, which you cross to arrive at the D329.
(8) Leave theGRP® by taking the small road on the left that runs along the edge of the lake and turn right, following the lake to reach the hiker's rest area (S/E).
