The starting point is the car park overlooking the Lachereau sailing club. (GPS coordinates: 46°28'00.8"N 0°11'46.4"W)
(S/E) From the sailing club car park, take the road on the left and head down to the dam.
(1) Pass through Lachereau, turn right onto the route and follow the eastern bank of the reservoir through the undergrowth. Depending on the season, wear waterproof shoes as the Fontaine du Pommier stream runs through the path.
(2) Take the road on the right towards Le Pommier. At the first intersection, take the track on the right (on the left-hand side, there is a fire reserve) and cross the village.
(3) Take the Route des Grands Ajoncs, VC No. 7, pass the entrances to La Roche-Nadoux and La Vergne. Stay alert! (Wear reflective clothing!)
(4) At the fifth crossroads, turn right onto the farm track known as Trois Chênes, which runs along the right-hand side of Champs Rouges, Cheintres du Cartier, Vieilles Vignes, Bois Vignes and Les Moëls. These plots have been consolidated into just three fields. On the left are Le Petit Babin, Le Babin, Champ de la Pallère, Champ de l'Aire, Champ le Champs du Dessus, Petit Genet, Champs du Bois, La Baillarge and Les Benetières. You will arrive at the Barrage de la Touche Poupard road.
(5) Take the road on the right towards La Touche Poupard, leaving the village of La Bisière on your right.
(6) At the Fortranche dam junction (at the dead end sign), take the road opposite and continue straight on to the car park (S/E).
