Town hall square.
(S/E) Head towards the medical centre, walk alongside it to pass between the town hall buildings and the bins, then turn right.
Join the street lined with low walls and turn right for 120 metres. At the end of the low wall, turn left (path marked in yellow and signposted Circular Marobert).
(1) The path descends alongside Les Granges, enters the woods and passes in front of the sewage treatment plant gate.
Stay on the path that runs alongside the Cuze stream.
(2) Take the first bridge you come to. At the end of the bridge, cross the D46 and take the forest track opposite.
Stay on the yellow marked path. The path continues through a chestnut forest where you should take all the tracks on the left.
After a beautiful hill in a deforested area, the path arrives at a small road.
(3) Turn left and enjoy the view of the Château de Marobert. Continue along the road. Pass the tennis court on your left and continue to the crossroads.
(4) Turn right towards Cantegrel. At the yellow marker 30 metres further on, take the path entering the woods on the right. It zigzags along a meadow and enters the woods. You will come to a tarmac road.
(5) Continue straight ahead towards the "circular Marobert". At a low stone wall, take the path on the right. Stay on the path and join a wider path.
Continue straight ahead, then after 50 metres take the path on the right.
At the next crossroads, take the road on the left. Pass close to the Auberge du Colombier
(6) Continue along the marked path. At the Fleurie farm crossroads, continue straight ahead. At the crossroads marked with a stop sign, turn left, then at the next fork about 50 metres further on, turn right.
Go up the path and take the track on the right at the second hairpin bend (in front of the noble house).
The path leads to a small road. Take the dead-end road opposite, which goes straight ahead.
At the last house, the path enters a wood of holm oaks. The path carved into the rock borders the grounds of Château Le Pouget.
On the access road to the château, continue straight ahead. The path descends to the edge of the meadow and plunges into the woods to reach the D46, at the entrance to Vitrac Port.
(7) Cross the D46 to reach the crossroads on the right.
Head towards La Circular de Marobert. Pass in front of a woodturning workshop. After a driveway, take the path on the left just after (towards the Café des Arts).
Walk up to the Café des Arts, then in front of the doctor's surgery next to the town hall, turn right and then take the first left to visit the church.
(8) Then return to the starting point at the town hall car park (S/E).
