Access and parking by car are straightforward. There is also a very large car park next to the church in the centre of Saint-André-les-Alpes. The route is also accessible by public transport, notably via the Train des Pignes, whose station is less than 1 km away. Depending on the route, park near the Route de Nice petrol station.
(S/E) Follow Route de Nice to the roundabout.
(1) Turn right onto Chemin des Espinasses and stay on this road, ignoring the streets on either side.
(2) Continue along the track to the Carrefour des Subis.
(3) Take the path opposite towards Les Claviages. Continue to the junction of the same name.
(4) Turn right towards the ridge.
(5) Turn left and continue to the junction marking the boundary between the Malvallon ravine to the north and the Aiguemond ravine to the south.
(6) Continue straight on towards the hamlet of Le Penas.
(7) Walk along the left side of the clearing to a modern barn. Continue for about a hundred metres until you reach a forest track.
(8) Take this track towards the valley and follow it to the RN202 on the banks of Lake Castillon.
(9) Cross the RN202 with care and head right towards the Plan water sports centre, keeping to the left-hand side of the road.
(10) Take the path on the left that runs alongside the road.
(11) Turn left to cross the bridge leading to the nature trail.
(12) Take the Chemin des Iscles on the right.
(13) Cross the bridge over the Verdon, then follow the path to Ham de Méouilles.
(14) Take the path on the right that leads towards the Verdon. You will reach a three-way junction.
(15) Leave the path on your left (which you will take on the way back) and head straight on. Reach the summit with the statues of the two saints and enjoy the view.
(16) Continue towards Méouilles.
(17) Turn left onto the village road, then leave it to take a path on the left leading back to the junction of the short circular route.
(15) Turn right and retrace your steps in the opposite direction to the bridge over the Verdon.
(13) Turn right onto the path along the Verdon, passing the tennis courts.
(18) Continue straight ahead on Chemin de Méouilles and follow it to the junction with Rue du Moulin. Turn left and join Grand Rue.
(19) Follow it, turning left again and passing in front of Saint-André Church. Then, cut right to reach the petrol station and the car park (S/E).
