Park in the car park at the Chapelle Saint-Martin, accessed via the D27.
(S/E) Turn left at the pond and you will soon reach the chapel.
(1) Turn right and, through the woods and up a very gentle slope, reach the vicinity of the hamlet of Le Theil.
(2) Keep to the right, then reach a road beside a pond. Turn left onto it to quickly reach a crossroads with several directions.
(3) Turn right onto the wide track following the old tramway line, and continue along the path that follows it to reach the village of Saint-Symphorien-sur-Couze.
(4) Cross the village, then cut across the road between the cemetery and a pond. Continue straight ahead into the woods until you reach another junction.
(5) Turn right, then immediately left, and follow the path until you reach another junction, this time with five directions.
(6) Take thesecond path on the right. On leaving the woods, cross the D27a to reach the entrance to the hamlet of Les Guilloux.
(7) Turn right onto the path that enters the forest and begin a short descent. Pass close to a small pond, then keep heading west to reach the junction with the road leading to Mazeireix.
(8) Cross the road and continue straight ahead, walking slightly downhill to reach the vicinity of the hamlet of La Valette.
(9) Turn left, quickly rejoin the D27, turn left onto it to reach the car park at Chapelle Saint-Martin (S/E).
