Access to Fontaine-Simon via the D25 from Senonches or La Loupe, and via the D928 then D2 from Dreux. Parking near the church.
No signposts
(S/E) With your back to the building, follow Rue de l'Église to the left. Pass under the bridge of the abandoned La Loupe-Senonches railway line and you will reach a shaded esplanade at the end of which is the Oratoire Sainte-Anne.
(1) Retrace your steps, go back under the bridge and turn right onto the path called La Ballastière. Follow it to the bend, cross to the right onto a footbridge over the Eure and walk alongside the old Scierie de la Billette sawmill.

(2) Turn right and take the tunnel under the railway line. Follow the path to the D2.
(3) Cross it carefully and take the D349.2 opposite, along a pond.
(4) Cross the Eure again via the bridge and take the Route de Guéhouville on the right.
(5) Turn left with the road to continue through the hamlet. Pass La Henrière, negotiate a left-hand bend then another right-hand bend, and reach the edge of a wood.
(6) Take the path on the right-hand side. Continue straight ahead at the crossroads, follow the northern edge of the Bois du Puits and cross the bridge over a stream. The path turns into a road shortly before the Ruisseau farm.
(7) Continue along the small road that approaches the Paris-Le Mans railway line, then follow it to arrive between the two bridges at the entrance to La Loupe.
(8) Turn left onto the D25 and cross the bridge. Continue to the crossroads, cross the speed bump and take the gravel path on the right, an old tramway that runs between the gardens. At the end of this path, take the street on the left and then Rue Guynemer on the right. When you reach the primary school, turn right onto Rue Charles Péguy.

(9) Leave the GRP® and turn right onto Rue des Pensées, which passes through a tunnel under the railway tracks. At the exit, carefully cross the D25.1 road and follow it to the left until you reach the junction with Rue de la Grande Fontaine.
(10) Turn right onto Rue de la Grande Fontaine and follow it straight ahead until you reach the D15.
(11) Cross it carefully and follow it to the right on the pedestrian crossing. Pass by a pond and then cross Rue de la Fontaine.
(12) Cross the D15 on the pedestrian crossing and follow Rue de l'Étang opposite. After turning left, it leads to the corner of the cemetery. Turn left, then right a few dozen metres further on to reach Meaucé Town Hall and Saint-Léonard Church.
(13) Retrace your steps, turn right onto Rue de la Mairie and you will come back to the D15. Cross it at the pedestrian crossing on the left and continue straight ahead along Rue de la Terroterie until you pass the farm of the same name.
(14) After the last houses, head towards Le Jupiter and La Louveterie on the right. Leave these farms on your left and continue along a path through the fields that joins the D348.4. Follow it to the right and return to the D15.
(15) Cross it carefully, follow it to the left for 100 metres, then take the D348.4 on the right and arrive at the Grande Maison: various types of accommodation - small menagerie on the side of the road. Continue to the next crossroads near the silos.
(16) Turn left carefully onto the D348 towards Fontaine-Simon. Pass La Mare then La Maison du Bois and arrive at the D25, which is called Rue de La Loupe here.
(17) Turn left and follow this road carefully until you reach the stop sign. Cross the D25 in front of the hotel, then follow Rue de l'Église (D2) to the right on the pedestrian crossings and return to the car park (S/E).
