Park in the car park by the village hall.
(S/E) Walk downhill for about 50 metres to join the D104 and reach the Rivière crossroads.
(1) Stay on this road, cross the River Doubs, then the railway line.
(2) Head back up to Torpes, which you cross via the old village along Rue du Centre. When you reach the junction with the D12, cross the road and head towards Saint-Vit, walking alongside the cemetery.
(3) Then turn right onto Chemin de La Piroulette. This well-maintained path runs alongside the forest and fields. Before entering the woods completely, you’ll have a lovely view of the Abbans-Dessus hillside. You’ll soon come within sight of the hamlet. Shortly after the restored wash house, turn right onto Rue de la Tuilerie until you reach the D106.
(4) Turn left and walk carefully along this road until you reach the first houses in Routelle. Cross the road, taking every necessary precaution.
(5) Turn left onto Rue de la Coutote and follow it to the centre of the village, where you’ll find a spring gushing from the ground beneath three small arches. Take the alley on your right and rejoin the D106 on the right.
(6) Turn left onto the canal path.
(7) Take the EuroVelo route on your left as far as the Osselle water sports centre.
(8) Cross the canal and the road and continue along the cycle route to the housing estates in Torpes and the junction with the D104.
(2) Head off to the right and join the junction with the D107.
(1) Take this road to the right, following the walls of the paper mill, then pass through the hamlet of Maroc. At the edge of the woods, join the Chemin du Chaucheux.
(9) Turn left onto it; further on, you’ll rejoin the D105. Continue along this road, passing the cemetery, then turn left at the next crossroads to return to Boussières and the starting car park (S/E).
