Departure from the "Dauville" car park, Rue du Puits Royau.
(S/E) Take the footbridge over the Marne.
(1) On the other side, go down the stairs on the right and turn right (go under the bridge) onto the path along the river (leave the PR® on your right). Follow the Marne on a cycle path on the left until you reach the Pont de Vergy (formerly known as the Pont Neuf or Pont Napoléon).
(2) First turn right then left to cross the D384 at the traffic lights. Cross a playground and then follow the river.
(3) Leave the Saint-Martin Church on your right and continue along the Marne to the double lock.
(4) First turn right then left to cross Rue Alfred de Musset. Continue to Avenue de la République.
(5) Turn left and then immediately cross the street to the right at the lock. Follow the cycle path parallel to Chemin du Closot and walk along the canal on your right.
(6) Go under the Rue Michelet bridge and continue straight ahead along the canal until you reach the Avenue de Verdun roundabout (Saint-Dizier station on your left).
(7) Cross the avenue and turn right. Immediately turn left and pass the river stop, take the footbridge on the left onto Rue André Theuriet, then immediately turn right onto Quai Camille Desmoulins. Stay on the cycle path, follow the canal, pass under the Avenue Victor Hugo bridge and go up onto the Avenue Alsace Lorraine bridge.
(8) Turn right to take the bridge and cross the canal again. At the roundabout, take the cycle path on the left that runs alongside Rue Judith Resnik. Continue straight ahead. Cross the bridge over the Marne and continue for 300 metres to the former Saint-Panthaléon gatekeeper's house.
(9) Cross Rue Paul Bert and turn right onto the shared pavement/cycle path. Follow Rue Paul Bert and cross the Marne again.
(10) At the traffic lights, turn left into Parc du Jard. Cross the park, staying alongside the Marne.
(11) Exit the park onto Rue Robert Dehault and turn left, still following the banks of the Marne. You will reach a crossroads that you passed at the very beginning of the walk.
(1) Take the footbridge on the left to immediately find the car park of the former "Dauville" on the left (S/E).
