You can park in the car park south-west of Saint-Ybars where the D626a and D10b meet.
(S/E) Walk past the hut to the River Lèze, which cuts deep into the landscape. Follow it and walk around Lake Saint-Ybars.
(1) When you reach a road, turn left and then immediately right onto the path. Pass a wash house and, at the end of the path, turn left onto the Chemin des Fontaines (tarmac) and reach Saint-Ybars via the Promenade de derrière la Ville.
(2) Cross the street diagonally and head uphill to enter Rue de la Porte de Lezat. Then, turn immediately left towards the church tower at the end of this street, Rue de Dessous.
Walk past the church and admire the impressive façade of the town hall in the square, then turn to go down Rue Porte de Mazet next to the pharmacy.
(3) Cross the junction towards the narrow one-way road and continue along the wide street until just past the hairpin bend.
(4) Turn left between the houses and continue along the path until you reach a tarmac road. Turn right and follow the track to the hamlet known as Le Plat.
(5) Turn right after the renovated house and follow this path, signposted with a yellow sign, towards Saint-Ybars.
The path descends steeply and joins the main road, the D10b.
Turn left and after about 400 m, you will reach the car park (S/E).
