From Salet Church, the path descends towards the old black marble quarry, then runs alongside fields towards the Molignée valley. It passes through the hamlet of Marteau, near Boël Castle, then climbs steadily through woods to reach Montaigle Castle (18th century), before descending towards the ruins of the medieval castle and rocks occupied since prehistoric times.
A long climb leads to Haut-le-Wastia, with its 1940 memorial and museum of remembrance. You then join the Chemin de Pauline, a restored local footpath, then the RAVeL cycle path of the old line 150, to Warnant.
Another climb takes you to the Bois des Aujes, a protected area known for its limestone grasslands and biodiversity. The route then crosses the Bois de Ronquière, passes near the Tincu fountain, and returns to Salet via the Bois Moretus.
