Park in the car park near the school and town hall in Saint-Julien-sur-Bibost.
(S/E) Take the Chemin de l'Angeline, then turn left immediately onto the Montée de la Croix-Rousse. Follow this road to its end.
(1) Continue along the path that follows on from it. You will soon reach a four-way junction. Continue straight ahead and keep climbing until you reach, at the edge of the woods, a junction with a wider track.
(2) Turn right onto this track, which descends slightly, follow the edge of the woods and reach a crossroads with a lay-by. Continue straight ahead to reach the junction withthe GRP® Tour des Monts du Lyonnais. Follow the red and yellow markings for a few metres, then leave them and continue straight ahead along the road. Enter the woods and you will soon come to a junction with a path.
(3) Continue along the road to reach the summit of Crêt d'Arjoux.
(4) Here you have two options:
- take the path between the trees opposite the mast to join a wide path; turn right to reach Bas d'Arjoux, but be careful as this path is very steep,
- return to the previous crossroads; this is the route shown on the map.
(3) Turn right and stay on the path to walk through the woods and reach the hamlet of Bas d'Arjoux.
(5) Take the road opposite and, at the next crossroads, turn right. Begin a new climb to cross the GRP®.
(6) Take it to the right, passing through the hamlet of Bombeynon. Continue the gentle climb to reach a crossroads.
(7) Leave theGRP® here and take the road to the left. Descend to the hamlet of Arjoux. Take the road to the left and reach a path junction.
(8) Turn right here, walk past a building and reach the D33.
(9) Turn right onto it and follow it to the car park for the school and town hall (S/E).
