Parking in front of the church.
(S/E) From the church, walk up into the village, passing the old castle tower – of which a gargoyle remains on the left – and see the half-timbered houses on the right.
Cross Place du Général Lagrange on the left, noting the old well and the old hand-operated fire pump on the right, then take Rue des Couteliers to reach the town hall and its promontory, which offers a sweeping view of the valley. Walk down the street opposite to the D284 and the bus shelter,
(1) When you reach the D284 and the bus shelter, take the road to the right, then immediately afterwards take the Chemin de la Fontaine de Cassé on the left (VC14 bis). Head down the slope.
(2) When the road turns right at Gourdon, follow the grassy path climbing up opposite to reach a ridge road, which you take to the left until you reach the Roman road D248.
(3) At the junction with the D248, the old Roman road, take the dead-end road opposite towards Leyreté and Cazeneuve. Pass the Maison de Portugal on the left, then Leyreté on the right.
(4) At the next house, with Cazeneuve on the left, leave the road and follow the grassy path opposite to the entrance of a wood.
(5) At the junction with a stony track, turn left into the woods.
(6) At the edge of the woodland, leave the stony path which continues and becomes a private road, and turn slightly right onto a grassy track between two fields which crosses the Bourdasse stream via a small bridge.
Continue along the path, which meets a private road on the left (signposted), reaches the hamlet of Labermeille and then becomes a road leading to the hamlet of Guillamot.
(7) At the junction with the D284, by the transformer, at the hamlet of Guillamot, take the road on the right for 600 m.
(8) After passing the Lassale house on the right, turn onto the grassy path on the left and follow it to a small road.
(9) At the junction, take the road to the left and follow it to the D248 (ancient Roman road).
(10) At the junction with the old Roman road, take it carefully to the left up to the top of the hill, then turn right to return to the village and the church (S/E)
