Loop at Cruéjouls

Departure from the Cruejouls car park, Route de Laissac, near the leisure centre.

(S/E) With your back to the car park, turn left, pass the wash house, then turn right. Follow the small road uphill, continue along Rue du Barry, and continue to the next crossroads. Turn left onto Chemin de la Ringue and follow it to the end.

(1) Cross the road (D988) and continue on the path opposite. At the four-way junction, turn right and continue straight ahead until you reach the cross in the residential area.

(2) Take a break in front of the cross to admire the splendid view. Continue downhill on the road until the end of Rue de Palauzets. Turn left onto Route de Gabriac (D988) and continue to the junction with the D245.

(3) Note the seesaw. Turn right onto the D245 towards Coussergues, then after the right-hand bend, turn left onto Chemin du Moulinou and follow the road to the Dourdou river.

(4) Take a break and enjoy the view. Then return to the D245 and follow it to the left until you reach Place du Monument. Turn right, walk past the war memorial on your left and follow the street to the communal oven.

(5) Note the information sign. Continue left, pass the town hall on your right, and continue along Rue de l'Église until you reach the church. Continue downhill on Rue de la Fontaine, then Rue du Charron, until you reach the bottom of the slope. Turn right and head for the car park (S/E).

(1) when crossing the D988,
(3) at the seesaw,
(4) at Moulinou, with a shaded spot to cool off.
(5) at the bread oven.
