GR®34: white and red markings
(S/E) Leave the car park and join the coastal path, following it south-east. Follow the route along Rue De la Palue du Cosquer, which is a diversion fromthe GR®® due to damage to the coastal path.
(1) Return to the old coastal path and follow it in a north-easterly direction. Leave the coast via Route du Traon and follow it for approximately 300 metres, leaving theGR®® on your right via Rue de Pen ar But.
No markings
At the roundabout, turn right and then right again at the small square.
(2) Take the passage between the houses to reach the Saint-Quido Chapel: beautiful grassy esplanade, fountain and picnic table. Return to Rue de Treguido, which you left earlier. Follow it for a few metres and turn right.

At Penanguer, rejoin theGR®® which veers right into Impasse de Prat An Asquel and comes out behind a large bench facing the sea. Turn left and continue along the top of the beach to the Port de Larvor slipway.
(3) Go up the access road to this slipway on the left and turn right immediately. TheGR®® follows the coastline in dotted lines and the route corresponds to that ofthe GR®® (possible variant, see Practical Information). Continue to reach Lodonnec Beach.
Off the marked trail
(4) At the roundabout, near a crêperie, turn left onto Rue des Tulipes and continue for about 100 metres.
(5) Look for Venelle Saint-Oual on the right, which leads to a small chapel tucked away between houses. Retrace your steps and continue right along Rue des Tulipes, which runs alongside the entrance to a large campsite. Go around the campsite and turn left at the road signposted Kerbernez. Pass the houses and then the road on the right towards Kerizec. At the T-junction, turn right and continue for 50 metres.
(6) Turn left and follow this small road (opposite a mobile phone relay antenna). Take the first road on the right towards Kerinvac'h, passing between wetlands.
(7) At the hairpin bend before the sewage treatment plant basin, turn right towards Kerandraon Plonivel. Follow this road between fields and future housing developments. At the T-junction, turn right to reach a crossroads marked by a recent cross on an old base. Turn left.
(8) About a hundred metres after the cross, turn right onto a wide grassy path. At the three-way junction, continue left to reach the hamlet of Saint-Mélaire: then turn left onto the road. Note the characteristic old farm well on the left. At the next crossroads, rejoin the small road you left earlier and follow it to the left for a few metres. Turn right at the gable end of a house. Continue to cross the hamlet of Kergroës.
(9) At the T-junction, turn left then right at the next junction. Continue south-west, cross a small road and look for the sign opposite indicating the Chapelle de Plonivel, a pleasant place to take a break (picnic table and large grassy enclosure under the plane trees).
YellowPR®® markings
(10) Continue north, turn left at the first road then left again (dead end sign) and you will reach the 15th-century Manoir de Kerhoas (private property). Leave the yellow markings on your right.
No markings
(11) Take a narrow path that runs alongside the Ster estuary, a river that flows into the sea at Lesconil. This path winds its way between two hedges of blackthorn and crosses two newly installed footbridges. Continue and look out for the Manoir de Kerlut (private property) on the other bank. Along the ria, there are a few information boards about the flora and fauna. Reach the bridge, which has been newly refurbished to combat silting (information board).

Cross the road and continue towards the sea, following the path that goes around a small car park on the right. Continue along the dyke to reach the coastal path.
(12) Head south-east along the path behind the dune (top of collapsed dune) then climb to the top of the dune following the markings. Continue with a large campsite on your left and the beach on your right. Take the path on the left which leads to the car park (S/E).
