Access: In Quimper, follow the signs for Pont-l'Abbé on the D785 and cross the Pont de Poulguinan bridge.
At the next roundabout, take the last exit for Port du Corniguel. Just before this street, turn left at the sign for Stade Nicolas Kervahut and park near the stadium.
(S/E) Walk along the stadium via Rue Ludugris, which leads to the towpath on the right. Turn right and follow the towpath, which runs alongside the Odet for about 1 km (view of Lanniron Castle on the opposite bank).
(1) Just before the end of the towpath, at a pumping station hidden behind a hedge, turn right and go straight up into the woods (a short climb) to reach Avenue du Corniguel. Cross it carefully and take Allée Denis Papin opposite, signposted "Fourrière Animale Municipale" (municipal animal pound).
(2) Go through the gate of the pound, turn left and walk between a BMX track on the left and a football pitch on the right. (If the gate is closed due to kennel opening hours, you can go around it on the right and continue along the path described above). Turn right, leaving the water treatment plant on your left, to reach the path along the edge of Kérogan Bay.
(3) Turn right, follow this path for about 1.5 km and you will come to a road.
(4) Turn left, cross a small bridge and continue along this path for about 500 metres. It goes around Kéraval Castle, which you can see on your right. When you reach the river, the path ends. Turn around, cross the bridge again and go straight up Chemin de Kéraval, passing three streets on your right.
(5) At the crossroads, turn left onto Chemin du Moustoir and follow it until it joins Chemin de Kerlagatu. Turn left then right. Follow Rue Amiral Guépratte, located near the white-fronted residences. It continues onto Allée Léo Ferré. Go around the houses on the right and join Promenade de Kervizien, which runs along a valley.
(6) Follow it to the left, ignoring the first footbridge on the right. Further on, turn right at the footbridge to go up towards the École de Kervilien and join Rue des Acacias, which you follow to the right.
Turn right onto Rue des Pommiers. First turn right then left to cross Avenue du Corniguel and continue along the street opposite, which ends with a staircase.
(7) Turn right and follow Rue du Four à Chaux, leaving it via a path that passes through a grassy area between two wooden barriers and joins Rue Lavoisier, where you turn left. Leave this street via a passage between houses at number 15 and you will arrive at Rue Becquerel.
(8) After the last house, at number 13, turn left along a hedge and join Rue de Ker Elise. Turn left and follow this street for about 650 metres.
(9) Continue along the small path opposite (yellow cross with a bar), skirting the pond and leaving a footbridge on your right. This path goes around a private residence and leads to the towpath, which you will follow on the left.
(10) After about 100 metres, turn left into Rue Yves Le Hénaff, then right to return to the car park where you started (S/E).
