Park in the small car park at Port du Corniguel, before the wastewater treatment plant.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, head towards the sewage treatment plant on your right and make your way to the banks of the Odet by following the fence marking the boundary of the port’s storage area. Continue along the river on a wide path. In the bay, note the remains of an old tuna boat that ran aground here in 1970 to spend its final days; the pontoon is a favourite spot for great cormorants. You’ll come to the first fork in the path

(1) Carry on straight ahead, keeping as close as possible to the bank of the Anse de Kéraval – which is occasionally obscured by a row of old trees – until you reach a signpost where you leave the light blue markings. On this same signpost, note the yellow and mountain bike markings.

(2) Keep to the left to get closer to the shore of the cove, which is still lined with old trees; pass a small beach and arrive at the road known as Chemin de Kéraval.
No signposting
(3) Turn left, cross a bridge over a stream, continue along the path running alongside the fence of Kéraval Castle and carry on to where it ends at a marshy area.
(4) Turn round and head back to the bridge.

(3) Walk back up the road, Allée de Kéraval, until you reach a junction near a glass recycling bin, then continue straight on along a gravelly footpath until you reach the junction with Allée François Arago, signposted ‘private road’ but open to pedestrians.
No signposting
(5) Turn right onto this stony lane, then continue along a road that leads to Avenue du Corniguel (signs for the SPA Animal Shelter and Animal Pound). Cross this road carefully using the pedestrian crossing set back to the right and enter the woods through a gate.
(6) Turn right onto the first path and follow the light blue markings.
Light Blue markings
Walk through this beautiful deciduous woodland until you reach a three-way junction. Continue straight on, ignoring the Yellow Cross and Blue Cross. Leave the markings behind, carry on until you reach another three-way junction, then turn left downhill to rejoin the markings.

Follow this final stretch through the woods and head up to the right to reach Avenue du Corniguel.
(7) Turn left and walk down this street to the car park (S/E).
