Park in the car park of the Saint-Maigrin football stadium D 152.
(S/E) Join the road and turn left. Head towards the small horse riding shed and turn left onto the path. Just behind the small shed, go down into the woods along the path. At the first crossroads, go straight ahead and turn right onto the next path, marked in yellow and orange. Follow the path, which turns 90° to the left. A little further on, there is a single track on your right (you can take it to see the old ovens, but you will need to return to the path) and then turn right, still following the yellow and orange markings. Continue to the road.
(1) Cross the road carefully and take the path opposite. Go down the path until you reach the meadow. Keep to the left outside the woods; do not go into the meadow or towards the sheds. Join the road. (Do not follow the markings any longer.)
(2) Turn left, follow the road for about 30 metres and turn right after the last house. Pass between the shed and the vineyard on a tarmac path and follow it. Opposite an electricity pole with a transformer, turn right at the first path going uphill. At the T-junction, continue along the path on the left and go downhill.
(4) At the road, turn right. Go up into the village and turn right at the first road. Follow it, cross the village of Chez les Geais and continue up the road to the T-junction.
(5) Turn right and immediately after the house, turn left onto the white path. Continue straight ahead on a path through the woods. Follow it for about 800 m and turn left onto a path that goes uphill.
At the road, turn right and after about 200 m, turn right onto a very pretty little path in the woods (just before the crossroads and the telephone pole) and follow it. Turn left at the first path and continue to a road.
(6) Turn left and take thefirst road on the right towards Fonteneau des Bois, continuing along the road for about 1 km.
(7) At the edge of the woods, turn right between the woods and the vineyard. Be careful, as the vineyard may have been cleared. This is before the village. At the other end of the vineyard, turn right onto a very small path. Follow it to the T-junction, turn left and continue.
(8) When you reach a crossroads, turn right and then almost immediately left onto a forest track. Follow it until you reach the road. Turn right onto the road and follow it for about 800 metres, leaving the Chez Gobert road on your left. On the next hill, almost at the top, walk alongside a fenced-in wood on your left.
(9) Turn right onto a path in the woods, go straight ahead and follow it to the road.
(10) When you reach the road at La Baudrie, turn left and then immediately right onto a tarmac path marked in yellow. At the last house on the grassy path, turn right and then left at the vineyard. Immediately turn left again, following the yellow markings (be careful not to take the path opposite). Follow it to a vineyard, go around it, follow the yellow markings and walk along the fence, then continue into the woods.
(11) When you reach a white path, turn right.
(11) 150 m further on, turn right again onto an old road and leave the yellow markings. Take the path opposite, passing between the woods and the vineyard. Further on, the path continues along a small road; follow it to the end. At the next road, turn left and follow the road to the football stadium (S/E).
