Parking: Meux Town Hall square.
(S) Starting from the town hall square, follow the departmental road to the right (safe shoulder), then go down to the right along the school and football field, following the yellow markers numbered "5". Go through the woods and turn left at the edge, then take the road on the right.
(1) At the crossroads, enter the woods on the left, turn right twice and exit. Turn left, after a short stretch through the undergrowth, continue along the edge of the woods until you reach the road.
(2) After the valley, at the crossroads, continue in the same direction and climb towards La Grande Rente and Le Calvaire des Moulins. At the water tower, continue right on the hillside towards an old mill.
(3) Turn right onto the D249, then onto a grassy path descending between the vineyards on the right. At Chez Poineau, turn left, then at Chez Bégasse, take the path descending to the right along the edge of the woods and through the undergrowth.
(4) Walk along the left side of the D249. Opposite Chez Bergeon, pass on the right between the vineyards towards Chez Piconnet. Continue towards a wood. After Chez Bégouin, follow the path on the right towards Ruisseau le Trèfle (on the right, La Cannonerie, François I's former hunting lodge).
(5) Take the second small road on the right that leads towards Le Trèfle. After the Moulin à eau du Périer watermill, turn right and climb up to the Bois d'Archat woods. Pass between the houses on the left, then continue through the undergrowth, turning left onto an old railway line.
(6) Take the road on the right, then turn left onto the D149. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead on a path between the poplar groves of Le Tâtre and Le Trèfle. Approach the hamlet of Chez Nocent.
(7) Turn right towards the stream 200 metres away, cross it and climb up to the right towards Chez Pichet.
(8) Cross the road and join the Ruisseau du Tâtre stream, then turn left to the Chiron watermill. Turn right to cross Le Tâtre and finally climb towards the Château de Meux. At the road, turn left to the church.
(9) Then turn right, walk alongside the church and return to the starting point (S/E).
