Departure from Place des Grands Chênes in Nizon
(S/E) Follow the Route des Lavandières eastwards to reach the D24. Follow it to the right for about 100 metres and take the path on the left to pass near the Pont-Aven technical services, cross a road and continue opposite.
(1) At the intersection with a small road, go straight ahead into the lane.
(2) At the end of the lane, follow the path on the left, cross a stream and join a road before the hamlet of Saint-Maudé.
(3) At Saint-Maudé, take the road on the right and continue until you reach the road to Le Haut-Bois.
(4) Follow this road to the right, then take a left turn to reach the hamlet of Haut Bois.
(5) Cross it and continue along the path opposite. At the end of the path, turn right and head towards the banks of the karstic cave, following the path and ignoring the paths that branch off to the left and right. Ignore the path that leads to the Moulin du Haut-Bois. Walk along the river, passing close to the drinking water plant on the other bank. Leave the water treatment plant on your left. Continue past the Moulin Neuf to reach the Pont-Aven bridge, then pass underneath it.
(6) Turn right onto Rue du Bois d'Amour, cross Rue de la Villemarqué at the bridge and climb up to join the Route de Trémalo (antenna on the right). Take this road to the right and follow it, then turn left at the end of the road to reach the Chapelle de Trémalo.
(7) Continue along the lane to reach the crossroads of the circular you passed on the way there.
(2) Turn left and follow the same route as on the way out to return to the first crossroads you passed on the way out.
(1) Turn left to pass by the school and reach the D24. Cross it carefully and go downhill to reach the picnic area on the other side.
(8) At the top of the picnic area, take the small path on the right. Go down to the stream, cross it and follow the path on the right along the river. Turn left to reach the retirement home, join the D783 and turn right to follow it for about 150 metres.
(9) Take the path on the right near the belay stations. When you reach a road, continue straight ahead to reach the ruins of Rustéphan.
(10) Follow the path at the end of the road, which turns back into a road, turn right to join the Nizon road (D77). Turn right and follow it for 300 m.
(11) Turn left onto the path to pass by the wash house. At the end of the path, continue along the road to reach Nizon.
Opposite the church, turn right to return to the car park where you started (S/E).
