The starting point for this stage is in Binn at the Hotel Ofenhorn

(S) From the Hotel Ofenhorn, head north towards Ackerstrasse, then turn right onto the Binn-Fäld path. Walk above the Binna river, against the current, until you reach the entrance to the hamlet of Fäld.
(1) At the first chalets, turn right, cross Fäld, cross the Binna to reach Restaurant Imfeld.
(2) Turn left and, heading south-east, continue along Legenbachstrasse towards Mässerbach (a small tributary of the Binna).
(3) At the sign indicating path No. 6, the route should leave the track and take a shortcut. A sign indicates that the path is closed until 30 April 2026 due to a destroyed footbridge. A detour has been set up, which consists of continuing along Legenbachstrasse to the next point. See the "Practical information" section: It is important to check for any closures and diversions. So follow Legenbachstrasse to the next point (end of the diversion).
(4) Follow the Fäld - Grossi Twära trail, which cuts across the last bend of Legenbachstrasse. Head eastwards, following the Binna. Pass Halsesee, then a marshy area, and continue climbing until you cross a trail coming from Mittlenberghütte.
(5) Continue towards the Albrunpass. Cross another marshy area and walk to the Binntal Hütte (overnight accommodation) (E).
